It’s official. At Donnini Apartments, we love golf! We’d be crazy not to considering that some of the best golf courses in the world are literally only a short drive (excuse the golfing pun…), or even a walk to many of our modern apartment and villas!
We know what golfers look for when deciding upon their next golf break - fast greens, proximity to the local drinking establishments and lots of space and towels in your accommodation in case you get unlucky, and you play on the one day of the year that it rains on the West coast of Scotland!
Here are just some of the courses that are within a 30-minute drive of the majority of our serviced apartments and villas, perfect for a golfing trip for couples or large groups.
Don’t worry though if you don’t see yourself as being quite as good on the links as Tom Watson in his prime, or maybe your budget can’t stretch to that of some of the top courses? There are no less than 8, YES EIGHT, fantastic links and parkland municipal courses dotted about South Ayrshire plus many other private clubs that welcome visitors all year round. So, you can be assured that South Ayrshire is definitely the place to visit for your next golf break – you won’t be disappointed!
