Our Story
Donnini was founded in 2017 with a simple idea: to offer guests more space, more flexibility and a more personal alternative to traditional hotel stays.
Our first apartment was a two-bedroom property overlooking the seafront in Ayr. The response from guests was overwhelmingly positive, inspiring us to expand our offering and share the Donnini experience with more people.
Since then, we’ve welcomed over 80,000 guests and continued to grow our collection of apartments, houses and hotel accommodation. Today, our portfolio includes properties in Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Kilmarnock, Dunure and Irvine, alongside The Kylestrome Hotel in Ayr.
While our portfolio has grown, our approach remains the same. We want every guest to feel comfortable, well looked after and able to make the most of their stay.
The Original Donnini Apartment
Our very first property, The Original Donnini Apartment in Ayr, marked the beginning of our journey in serviced accommodation.
Set in the heart of Ayr, this welcoming two-bedroom apartment offers a comfortable home from which to enjoy everything the town and surrounding Ayrshire coastline have to offer. With its spacious living areas, well-equipped kitchen and convenient location, it combines the freedom of an apartment stay with the thoughtful touches you would expect from Donnini.
What started with this one apartment has grown into a collection of over 70 properties across Ayrshire, but The Original Donnini Apartment will always hold a special place in our story. It is where the Donnini experience began.
